The Manchester Video Game Orchestra are delighted to announce two upcoming performances at the Royal Northern College of Music on Sunday the 13th of February 2022!
Two action packed programmes with music arranged and orchestrated by Aaron Breeze and Nate Chivers, and Choir rehearsed by the wonderful Anna Beresford; the first show, a concert for children as part of the RNCM Young Explorers series, will commence at 2pm. The second performance for adults, “Crash meets Jak: A Video Game Extravaganza” will begin at 7.30pm! Both shows will be accompanied by live video game footage on the big screen
We are delighted to announce that we will be joined on the day by a very special guest. We will be flying Josh Mancell; composer of the original Crash Bandicoot and Jak & Daxter OST’s, over from California to work with Larry Goves and the RNCM Composition department, and to work with and make an appearance with the orchestra in our afternoon and evening performances!
It will also be the first time in its history that the RNCM refectory will be converted into a full blown arcade, with video game characters and a video game themed bar!
